Zach Brandon Aims to Be a Beacon of Hope

LA singer/songwriter Zach Brandon recently released his poignant new single “Live & Let Live” last month, and hopes it can help bring just a small bit of joy to anyone listening. The young but talented artist has worked with names like multi-Grammy winning writer-producers Charlie Midnight (James Brown, Christina Aguilera, Joni Mitchell, Seal) and Jan Jan Fairchild (Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Mos Def), and is influenced by everyone from the Eagles, Doobie Brothers and James Taylor to Mayer, Coldplay and his contemporaries James Bay and Dominic Fike. “Live & Let Live” is a hopeful song that weaves the stylings of John Mayer, Shawn Mendes, and Harry Styles.

“‘Live and Let Live’ is a song I wrote in 2018 about how important it is to remember that we, as humans, are all cut from the same cloth,” Zach says. “That we are all related to a certain degree. The seed that grew into the song is a line that you can find in the 3rd verse, which says: ‘I’ve never seen a flower that someone called a sin//for the places it comes from or the colors on its skin.’”
