There is a long legacy in German electronica since the heavy days of Kraftwerk and the groundbreaking sounds of the late 70’s and early 80’s, but now there is a new contender to the throne in the shape of YASKA. Their latest EP, Falling Twins, puts testament to the question of “is there anyone else out there to impress us?” Accompanied by a video shot in Iceland, this single is a mid tempo melody with an 80’s electronica edge to it . . . but has a raw beauty about it as well. “Falling Twins” is very well made piece of music from a very well made band.
