Here’s a video from LA trio Mini Mansions showcasing their latest song “Vertigo”.  It features the distinctive tones of Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner but they are more laid back here to fit in with the trippy, psych-pop backing.

Mini Mansions may be a name to keep an eye on.  They will be supporting Royal Blood on their forthcoming UK tour and they have other ‘big name’ connections…

Drummer Michael Shurman is also the bassist in Queens of the Stone Age and if the harmonies on “Vertigo” get you excited then the news that the album will also feature Brian Wilson will certainly whet the appetite further.
