Four piece rock bands are pretty much part and parcel of the music scene but as years go by the need for new bands continues to be apparent. Enter The Sonic Revolvers. Hailing from the northwest of England, the band comprise of Darrell Tinsley on vocals, Richey Jones on guitar, Mike Jones on drums and bassist Phil Mealing. Formed in 2010, the band have a heavy metal yet melodic sound to their music and have already recorded one album titled Songs For The Revolution. Extensive gigging and putting on a proper show for the fans is what the band have and continue to strive for. January 2013 saw the release of a 5 track E.P called Suns Of Mercury to great acclaim from media and fellow musicians alike. This year doesn’t look like it’s slowing for them either with the imminent release of their new single “Wishing Well”. Produced by Greg Haver, who includes Manic Street Preachers and Bullet For My Valentine in his reportoire, this is a great classic rock style track with Tinsley on top form vocally whilst the band back him up with the attention grabbing melodic rock riffs. The single is out on June 2 and if you like some power rock in your life, then this is definitely for you. This is a band to keep an eye on for sure.
