From the mind of DJ/producer Blue Stahli comes the 80s shout-out-loud experience we’ve all been needing in our lives. Enter his new moniker/project Sunset Neon, who released its new single “Tonight” today. The song is an in-your-face infectious VHS adventure that makes you want to hop in the car with David Hasseloff and relive Knight Rider. The track will be featured on Neon’s debut album Starlight, due out on December 1st via FiXT.
“I’ve dreamed about doing a project like this since I first started making music,” he explains, “so I’m freakishly excited to create some weirdo VHS music for nostalgia-tinged drives or the result of watching too many flicks like Terrorvision and Vamp over and over.”
We’re excited to keep the 80s vibes rolling with more new music from Sunset Neon this fall. For now, be sure to keep up with him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
