Back in 2018, we had a chat with White Ring on the occasion of their releasing Gate of Grief plus some B-sides. Their final words in the interview stuck with me “In the end, everything will be OK. If it’s not OK, it’s not the end.” I guess that stuck with them too, they prepared a mix to be played on FC Radio Friday, February 19 7PM EST titled EVERYTHING IS FINE. And is it fine? White Ring went through some hard times, relocated to Florida, and are now ready to release Show Me Heaven, their new full-length album, dropping on Rocket Girl label on February 19 as well. You can already listen to Light Hours Linger and I Need a Way, the opening tracks, as a preview to the LP HERE.

The album has the White Ring sound, and it also has something of an elegiac atmosphere. It is a satisfying and comfortable listen if you are a fan of the WR world, and it is a very FINE listen if you are just now discovering the band.
