The accomplished Sam DeRosa has returned with her new single “Hard to Love,” officially out now. The name may seem somewhat unfamiliar to you, but DeRosa has been penning hits for world-renowned artists for quite some time now, including Lovelytheband’s recent #1 alternative radio hit “Broken.” Currently residing in LA, the young pop artist is finally showing people what she can do with her own music.
“Hard to Love” is what the kids these days are calling a “BOP.” It has an instant undeniable hook that immediately pulls you in and makes you want to move. “’Hard To Love’ is one of the fastest songs I’ve ever written (about 40 minutes),” DeRosa explains on the song. “I kind of blacked out because the emotion was real, raw, and fast. I had a huge fight with the guy I was dating, and he hung up on me. I remember my blood boiling, but it was because I knew he was shutting down for the wrong reasons. This song was kind of my last step into “the ring” and really throwing everything out there. I’m glad I did.”
Well, looks like you got the last laugh, Sam. It’s only a matter of time before this song is all over pop radio. For now, listen below.
