Reisender Drops New Album Fmly + Creepy Music Video

West coast indie pop duo Reisender has emerged in 2021 with their new album Fmly and mildly creepy music video for their single “Naked Eyes.” Paul Conroy and Rurik Schtaklef share their project from multiple cities, residing in Portland and Oakland, respectively, and with the help of Grammy-nominated production team, The Canvas Group (Rob Marshall + Nic Gracia) have blessed us with an indie/alt festival-ready collection of gems.

The music video was filmed in the High Desert near Bend, Oregon. Conroy co-directed the video with his longtime friend Zach Macias. “The story told through the lyrics of ‘Naked Eyes’ is one of sensual melancholy; It’s the idea that humans can exist entirely online and create for themselves a brand new, synthetic existence,” explains Paul Conroy, the duo’s vocalist & primary songwriter. “With this comes a darker side, defined by loneliness and anxiety. 2020 was a year that navigated more people online than ever, and it became common to know someone personally profiting from self-promotion.”

Fans of Tame Impala, Mac DeMarco, and Still Woozy should get into this one. Keep an eye out for more new music from Reisender, and be sure to follow them on Twitter and Instagram.
