How about some pounding European electro-pop with a funky twist for the weekend?

REFS has got you covered with their latest track “Spotlight”.

Duo Zachary Lipkins and vocalist Richard Saunders have finally followed up last single “Forever” (featured on HBO’s Girls) with a song filled with punchy, top notch production and soaring soulful vocals.  It’s a lush mix of gorgeous retro synth grooves with a head spinning build up halfway through, leading into that final chorus.

Zachary explains “Spotlight” as being about ‘the feeling of that first time when you’re just having fun with no expectations.’  With a trio of EPs coming later in the year, all focusing on the different phases of ending a relationship, REFS is a name to bookmark.
