Record Store Day Goodness with Dot Hacker

Sometimes you want Christmas to be more than one day a year. I mean, you get presents and sometimes you get them on your birthday but that’s really it. Well babies, Record Store Day is here and have I got a present for you. Dot Hacker is releasing a special 7” via ORG music which will be limited to 1,000 copies worldwide. The 7” will feature their new single “Whatever You Want” which I am here to tell you is yummy tasty good. It completely blew my mind to hear some tough, guitar driven rock music. The B side has a track called “Memory”.

Dot Hacker is an LA based band that features Josh Klinghoffer, Clint Walsh, Eric Gardner, and Jonathan Hischke. They released their debut album, Inhibition, in 2012, and are expected to release their second LP, How’s Your Process? in two parts this coming July and September.

Hope you can get your hands on this totally collectable must-have Dot Hacker 7” single for your collection. But if you can’t, go the SoundCloud link and keep “Whatever You Want” on repeat. It will totally get you stoked for their July release. Well, wouldn’t ya know, another present!

Happy Record Store Day!

Born and raised in NYC, she began her lifelong love affair with music the moment she first heard T Rex. Throughout her life music has always been there … the steadfast fiend with no judgement, always accepting. It nourishes, it angers, it heals and it makes you feel embraced. It is a part of her just as a limb or a lung. If she can bring any of those feelings to people through her writing, not only does she feel she’s done her job, she feels like she’s given them a gift.
