New Sound & Vision from Italy’s Caelestis

I would like to introduce you to a new sound & vision that has come our way. The band is Caelestis. The video is for the new single “Spyglass”. An Italian alt-rock jam, Caelestis has an ethereal sound that they have merged with the French death/black metal band Archenterum. They’re two opposite ends of the music spectrum for sure but when you put them together they kind of work, like a Reeses peanut butter cup. The video, filmed in Italy and France, features both bands, a beach, a dude wearing a Ziggy Stardust shirt and strange little puppets…puppets are cool. Caelestis is also cool and worth a check out for sure. Tell us what you think…sì o no?

Born and raised in NYC, she began her lifelong love affair with music the moment she first heard T Rex. Throughout her life music has always been there … the steadfast fiend with no judgement, always accepting. It nourishes, it angers, it heals and it makes you feel embraced. It is a part of her just as a limb or a lung. If she can bring any of those feelings to people through her writing, not only does she feel she’s done her job, she feels like she’s given them a gift.
