New Music & Tour: Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes

Phantoms

The popular Nashville band, Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes, are gearing up for a busy Fall. Known for their unique ability to blend indie-rock and synth-pop with high levels of kinetic energy, the group released their latest album, Kid Tiger, to positive reviews in March. The band has now released “Phantoms” as the second single, after it became a noted fan favorite during their live shows.  “Phantoms” has been made available with a remix from another familiar Nashville artist, Kyle Andrews. Lead singer Daniel Ellsworth says he was blown away by Andrews’ remix, “I’ve been a fan of Kyle for years. His music is incredible and his production skills are unmatched. He’s some sort of pop music super genius. It was a no-brainer for us to ask Kyle to do a ‘Phantoms’ remix. I expected it to be good, but I was blown away.”

In addition to a single and remix, Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes are preparing for a fall tour that includes a stop at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City, as well as many Midwestern and Eastern towns. You can check out the tour dates below, but don’t despair if there isn’t a show listed near you. The band says they will be adding more dates to the tour, so be sure to keep checking their website for updates. And for those lucky enough to have a show nearby, go get your ticket and then put your dancing shoes on. This is a show you do not want to miss.
