With filthy, fuzzy bass synths and slamming, floor-shaking drums,”8am” is a spontaneous burst of goodness, a sprawling attitude-filled alarm call hitting you hard like a 21st-century “Naked and Ashamed”
On top of all this is a lazy-cool, nonchalant drawling vocal with catch-them-if-you-can lyrics in the vein of Chicks on Speed or Peaches.
