A probing look into the human condition, the song features a dreamy melody with a jazz feel and a rock and roll overtone. The smooth tenor of his bluesy vocals play almost effortlessly with his piano playing.
As far as voices go, Luke is an important addition to any collection. When he belts his emotional lyrics, the passion he puts into his music is displayed powerfully. The menthol stylings, reminiscent of Jonny Lang or John Mayer, are simply beautiful. Listening to this song gives me chills and I can’t get enough.
