Boston’s Mosie has been around for a short minute, but never have they come up with something quite like this. The duo’s new single, “look@ugo,” is the first taste from their debut full-length Tangerine, set for release on 3/14 during this year’s SXSW. The track touches on all the best parts of funk, disco, soul, and hip hop, with some of the catchiest lyrics we have heard in quite some time. To support the release, Mosie will perform at the DMNDR Official Showcase at SXSW on 3/15.
“‘look@ugo’ was one of the last songs to come together for Tangerine, and we think it is a good representation of where we are headed back to the future,” Mosie explains. “We hope you feel the love that went into this project.”
