Meet Temples

I first caught Temples when they supported Primal Scream at Brixton Academy and I had heard they were very good. But they aren’t just very good . . . they have the ability to blow the music world to pieces. Formed in 2012, this Kettering four piece consist of lead singer and guitarist James Edward Bagshaw, keyboardist Adam Smith, bassist Thomas Edison Warmsley and drummer Sam Toms. The group was a home based music project before Heavenly Recordings boss Jeff Barrett came across videos they had uploaded onto YouTube. Barrett then released their first single, “Shelter Song,” in November 2012.  Three more singles have been released this year with their debut album, Sun Structures, to be released in February 2014. Noel Gallagher and Johnny Marr are huge fans of this band and it’s easy to see why. Have a listen to the links below and you too will become a believer, just like I did not so long ago. My top tip for 2014 by a country mile.
