Detroit experimental pop duo Valley Hush are releasing their new self-titled album on October 28, and we couldn’t be more excited. The latest offering from the LP comes in the form of “Concepts” – a dark and whimsical pop tune that sounds like Tame Impala and Lana Del Rey’s lovechild (if there was one). Alex Kaye (instrumentation) and Lianna Vanicelli (vocals) refer to themselves as “musical soulmates” – and their synergy in instrumentation and vocal melodies indicates as much.
‘Concepts’ is the track that we hope makes you dive deep into your soul and question what you are made of,” they explained. “We are so simple and so complex at the same time. Usually, if you remember that you are just nature and meant to love, all of the problems in your head disappear for at least a few moments.”
Be on the look out for more new music from Valley Hush this fall, and be sure to keep up with them on Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud.
