NYC indie-pop duo Lick Twist have been busy…and I mean BUSY. Last year, they flooded the interwebs with several widely embraced singles and reached impressive heights with their Soundcloud and Hype Machine presence. Now, it’s 2017, and the group is back with their new single “High Bun,” featuring the soaring vocals of Julius Jones Jr.
“’High Bun’ was definitely an experiment for us,” the duo explains. “It was the first record in a while where the vocal came before the production. The vocal from Julius Jones Jr. really inspired us to deliver the R&B/pop, soul-filled, acoustically driven production which came together perfectly with the melodies.”
The real question is – when do these guys sleep?
