LA’s Bloodboy Shares New Single “Keep Your Disease”

LA indie pop artist BLOODBOY is continuing her surge on the music scene by unveiling her latest offering, “Keep Your Disease.” Infused with a variety of different influences from 90s alternative to industrial to punk rock, the 25 year old former surfer is quickly turning heads – including a lengthy stint at #1 on 106.7 KROQ’s “Locals Only” show in Los Angeles.

“The song is from the perspective of this sort of omnipotent, subliminal figure on a megaphone projecting these deeply rooted societal constructs,” Bloodboy told Consequence of Sound, “and the ‘disease’ that is referenced is actually your true inner desires. It’s kind of a call to action, a ‘Wake the fuck up, do you even know yourself at all?’”

We are salivating for the upcoming debut EP, which is due out this fall. Don’t sleep on Bloodboy – listen to “Keep Your Disease” below.
