Kiyomi Impresses With Debut Single “High Ladder”

Australian pop artist Kiyomi has impressed with her debut single “High Ladder,” taking the listener on a cinematic and ethereal journey through various genres and soundscapes. She teamed up with world renowned designer Charlie Le Mindu to help direct the song’s official music video, and the results were somewhat mind blowing [INSERT DR. PHIL GIF HERE]. We aren’t entirely sure what we’re watching, but we know we can’t take our eyes off the screen.

Kiyomi discusses the song, in saying, “I wrote High Ladder when chasing the dream was like chasing moonlight. It was a time of many closed doors and this song started to open them. The song turned into a transpacific collaboration bouncing between LA and Australia, developing layer by layer. High Ladder comes from my head and my heart and I hope it resonates with other dreamers.”

We plan to keep our eye on this unique and talented artist, and hope to get more new music this year. For now, check out “High Ladder” below.
