It seems as though we’ve been hearing the name JUJ for years now, but the young talent is just 19 years old with only a few singles under her belt. She’s seen plenty of success in her short tenure as an emerging songwriter, including her recent single “Mood,” which featured Vic Mensa.

Her latest single “Pieces” is a powerful (and very personal) anthem about her struggle with anxiety and insomnia, both of which were triggered by her Lyme Disease diagnosis. JUJ has come out of all of it shining brighter than she ever has, stopping at nothing to continue writing music. A debut EP is said to be in the works for 2020 – if it is anything like “Pieces” and “Mood,” we are all in for a treat.
