Magic duo James Orvis and Alice Smith, known together as Paris XY are sending waves through the electronic soundscape. Based in Leeds, this creative coupling hit the underground scene in 2012 with a sound uniquely theirs. Mixing bluesy vocals with analogue synths and poetic lyrics, Paris XY not only crosses boundaries, they erase them.
With their newest single for “The Return”, Paris XY has created an environment for the senses, one both stark and rich, dark and light. The video, created by Euan Baker, is the perfect accompaniment to this sonic journey. This is music made to blur the lines and unleash the underground.
