Friday FourPlay – 31 July

It’s here for a second week!  Here’s some of the hottest, latest music to pleasure yourself with…

Bitter’s Kiss -“The Rope”

This is so good I could swear.  Beautifully put together dramatic dreamy pop.  Drift into your weekend with the new single from Chloe Baker (aka Bitter’s Kiss )

The Elwins – “So Down Low”

This song was featured recently on our Facebook Saturday Night Slice feature but we feel it should be repeated here as the video is as cool as the lo-fi indie on display from Canada’s The Elwins

Jennie Vee – “Spying”

NYC dream-popper Jennie Vee has recently supported Lana Del Rey and gained notable recognition from Courtney Love.  “Spying” is retro indie pop with vibrant chorus-laced guitar.

Soviet X-Ray Record Club – Shake

The Australian five-piece showcase a classic, dark post-punk sound with icy synths and percussive drive. “Shake” has more a whiff of 2008 than 1978 about it but if you like this then you are in luck as their album can be downloaded from their website
