Desert Weather Are “Still In My Head” With Their Debut Single

LA’s Desert Weather are a whole lot of fun – that’s the main takeaway we got from their debut single “Still in My Head,” which came out this week. The 2000s garage rock vibe is apparent through every note, most noticeably a la The Strokes, and the production has a perfectly imperfect lo-fi nuance to it.

“Sometimes meeting certain people can leave an unexplainable impact on your life and the way you see the world,” the band explains on the new single. “When this happens, you ignore all logic and live in the hypnotic bliss of the impression they made on you for a little while, which is ultimately what ‘Still In My Head’ is all about.”

Too real.

We’re excited to see what the newly formed quintet has in store as a follow-up.  For now, keep up with Desert Weather on Instagram, and check out “Still in My Head” below.
