Dead Leaf Echo is truly a double threat when it comes to creative projects.  Beginning in 2008, this NYC band has become a new participant in the Nouveau Wave Movement. Dreamy guitar riffs in combination with 80s-ish alternative rock beats construct a unique atmospheric sound for this indie group. Though music is a very strong medium which they utilize and reinvent to the standards of the high-art concept, it is not their only focus; they also have a series of film noirs and film stills released in conjunction with their music.  Their debut LP Thought and Language possesses all the qualities of their creed of continuous artistic reinvention and lovers of all artistic medium are sure to enjoy this band.
