Last year, Fourculture introduced you to the latest in the line of rock bands from the north of England, The Sonic Revolvers. And now, these northern scoundrels are back with their brand new single, Can You Hear Me?. For those who still haven’t come across the band, The Sonic Revolvers consist of Darrell Tinsley (vocals), Phil Mealing (bass), Richey Jones (guitar) and Mike Jones (drums). They have been active since 2010 and have spent most of their time playing live, but indeed they found time to release the “Suns Of Mercury” E.P. in 2013, which Fourculture featured. This new single is produced by Greg Haver, most remembered for his work with Manic Street Preachers. And it’s a beauty too, with a feel of “Ruby” by The Kaiser Chiefs about it. If this what The Sonic Revolvers are capable of producing, then the forthcoming album should be just as good. And if this doesn’t get your foot tapping, you need to listen to it louder. Great stuff from a band with a bright future.
