As we approach February 14th, one might say that love is in the air for some of us. For Audriix, she’s chosen to take a more ironic approach by releasing her single “Waste a Goodbye.” Instead of passing around candy ‘Be Mine’ hearts, the Northern California native’s first single of 2021 illuminates the pain of a dying relationship and the struggle of saying goodbye. It oozes everything you’d want in an angsty pop song, featuring big production and melodies that stick to your brainwaves.

After releasing her debut EP Colors in 2015, Audriix released her full-length debut Status Change in 2019.  Her 2020 single “Deep Breaths” continues the theme of empowerment, examining the culture of emotion suppression and silencing, all with fearless honesty.  “None of my songs portray the woman as the victim,” she says. “It’s all about being strong and standing up for yourself. I hope that listeners come away feeling empowered to do whatever they set their minds to.”
