Often lazily labelled as the forgotten Osbourne, ARO has independently fashioned her own identify away from the usual expectations that often act as a millstone for ‘celebrity offspring’.
She arrived on the music scene last year with “Raining Gold”, along with a cover of LCD Soundsystem’s “I Can Change”, however it is the haunting statement within “Cocaine Style” that looks to push ARO further into new highs.
Opening with moody electronics, her vocal cuts over with the stylistic power of both country and rock music, all coming together to create an impressive, mature offering. The stunning black and white video, directed by Spencer Susser, only adds to the drama.
