It’s awesome when an artist’s much anticipated release is as good as you had hoped. We’ve been waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for a new release from Andrew Belle. The wait is over because Belle just unveiled a new track entitled “Dive Deep”. It’s his first release since 2013’s Black Bear.
Word on the street is that Belle’s latest collection of songs will build upon Black Bear‘s electronic/alt-pop foundation. “Dive Deep” is a glimpse of the magic that’s to come. In addition to his soaring spirited soundscapes, this singer/songwriter is recognized for sharing his triumphs and struggles in his work. The trend continues on this melancholy, atmospheric track.
“I wrote ‘Dive Deep’ while thinking about the moment when we let our guard down and invite another person to know us on a deeper, more meaningful level,” explains Belle. “On the surface I wrote it from a romantic perspective but I also meant for it to encapsulate the broader theme of this new album. The hope is that my listeners will know a little more of me and my story through this new song and forthcoming album.”
