The now LA-based Aidan Carroll is gearing up for the release of his new album The Other Side, and has unveiled its first single “I Used to Party,” featuring up and coming rapper Mari. The accomplished songwriter & producer has had quite a career working with other artists and touring as a supporting musician, and is now honing in on his solo work. “I Used to Party” is fun and light, referencing the days when Carroll lived in Oklahoma City where there wasn’t much to do other than…well, party. But the song dives deeper than many might think.

“The song has some subtle hints that Mari and I worked on together for his feature section in which we reference the process of maturing – finding true love and bigger dreams, etc. – which is where I’m very much at now in my life. It’s basically a mini-retrospective from OKC to NYC to LA.”

The track has a super smooth R&B/soul vibe – perfect for warm summer nights spent with friends in the sand. Keep an eye out for more new music from Aidan Carroll, but for now – enjoy “I Used to Party.”
