New single from Mt Wolf, “Anacrusis”

2015_Mt_Wolf_WimbledonCommon_3_CropDelicately cinematic, the guitar soundscapes and light abstract vocal of “Anacrusis” demand attention within the first 30 seconds.  Echoes of Explosions in the Sky and Sigur Ros interweave with harmonies and spine-tingling sonics that are cathartic and uplifting.  Mt Wolf have created an other-worldly piece of beauty and it is the second single from the Hex EP, out next month.

There’s more to find in the back catalogue if this is your introduction to the electronic/acoustic trio (check out the Red EP!) but more excitingly there is an album due out later in the year.

As a lover of music, cats and chocolate it was inevitable that Paul would end up writing for us. A tireless singer/songwriter from the UK with a tiresome number of music projects, his worrying knowledge of the 80s and the evolution of crisps and confectionery (or chips and candy for our US readers) has seen him both gain jobs and lose friends.
